Bike Around Bachevo

Bachevo is nicely situated on the southern foothills of the Rila Mountains, only 6 km away from the town of Razlog and about 15 km away from Bansko. The surroundings of Bachevo provide great biking opportunities with different difficulty level which makes it suitable for both beginners and advanced bikers.
Although the village is situated so close to the booming resort of Bansko it has preserved its traditional look and atmosphere which makes it a good alternative to the overbuild ski center.
From the hills above Bachevo the biker can admire spectacular views towards both Rila and Pirin mountains while riding on well maintained forest roads and single tracks.
A one day excursions to the neighboring villages of Godlevo and Dobarsko are easy and rewarding.

In year 2006 BIKEAREA crew explored the vicinity of Bachevo and proposed a few bike itineraries in the region. All of them are based in Bachevo. The routes are not way marked so you may obtain GPS data or description of the routes trough the email.

Short routes:

1. Bachevo - The Thermo mineral bath (Banyata) - Godlevo - Bachevo.
2. Bachevo - Perivol - Bachevo.
3. Bachevo - Kazana - Godlevo - Bachevo.

Long routes:

1. Bachevo - Perivol - Predela Pass - Razlog - Bachevo.
2. Bachevo - Dobarsko - Godlevo - Bachevo.
